ABSTRACT -- The Engineering Colloquium Committee is pleased to present this talk about a resource available to Goddard researchers.

The presentation will cover an overview of the GSFC/WFF Aircraft Office including the support functions provided and descriptions of our current missions. An overview of each aircraft and their capabilities will also be included.

SPEAKER -- Mike Cropper is the Deputy Chief of Flight Operations for the GSFC/WFF Aircraft Office. Mr. Cropper has worked for NASA at WFF for 21 years with the first 13 years as a part of the Engineering Technology Directorate (Code 548) and the remaining 8 years as part of the Aircraft Office (Code 830). Over the years Mr. Cropper has supported engineering and operations management functions for a variety of NASA aircraft and Unmanned Aerial Systems (UAS) including the NASA DC-8, P-3 Orion, C-130 Hercules, ER-2, Global Hawk UAS, B-200 King Air, C-23 Sherpa and UH-1 Huey. Mr. Cropper has also supported a variety of Commercial Aviation Services aircraft projects over the years. In total Mr. Cropper has supported over 125 aircraft missions/deployments in a variety of supporting roles.
